A printed QR code hard-codes one URL for life — when the destination moves, the code becomes a dead link and the only fix is a costly reprint. IWantQR needed dynamic codes that stay permanent on paper while the destination stays editable, plus proof a code will actually scan before it ships to print, and analytics on every scan.
The approach
Built a dynamic-QR layer where every printed code resolves through a stable short link, so destinations can change any time without reprinting.
Shipped a print-readiness checker and print-ready exports — SVG/PDF, custom colors and logo — so a code is verified to scan before it ever reaches paper.
Added broken-link monitoring with destination history and one-click rollback, so a live campaign never points at a dead URL.
Wired a scan-analytics pipeline (UTM builder, CSV export, folders, landing pages) on top of Stripe-backed tiers, team workspaces, custom domains and scheduled destination changes.
